Following FC's recent two-parter interview on Hacking Humans, the Cyberwire podcast, I was delighted to be asked to go on and speak to Carole Theriault about how to make cybersecurity awareness-raising training effective.
The episode covers everything from protecting yourself from ransomware, issues with macros and how scammers use celebrity culture to catch us out. As always, it's a great listen. I cover some advice for engaging non-technical people in cybersecurity messages for organisations with large and small budgets, the need to speak the right language for your audience and why showing people the reality of cybersecurity threats is much more effective than simply telling them.
