How do we empower our team at Cygenta? We use our own cultural gap analysis platform, C-gap. We understand that it's important to allow individuals to take control of their learning, which is why C-gap empowers people to actively engage in cybersecurity and supports cultural change within the organisation.

C-gap is not just an online training platform, and it is not just a phishing platform, it is so much more. People start their C-gap journey by completing a cyber survey, which helps the platform to understand an individual’s starting base knowledge and determine their cyber risk score. C-gap continuously supplies live notifications of breached identities known as cyber exposures. From there, targeted training courses and targeted progressive simulated phishing emails and SMS messages are pushed out. There are pre-made phishing templates in the platform or you can create your own; the complexity and frequency of these can be determined by an individual’s cyber risk score.

Our targeted training includes mandatory pathways as well as optional courses that individuals will be recommended. The training includes Cybersecurity Awareness and our How a Hack Works series, each with courses, hacking demonstrations and video content, as well as optional pathways including Kidsplanation and In Focus courses which includes detailed modules on key cybersecurity topics.

Those using C-gap have the opportunity to improve their cyber risk score by using the report a phish function, incident reporting, enrolling in additional courses and keeping up-to-date with the latest cyber news. Rewards are a positive way of encouraging individuals to reduce their cyber risk score and develop their knowledge further.
